好钢用到刀刃上。谁以最锋利的刀

在生命的山路上披荆斩棘

谁以最尖锐的剑，在心中雕刻纯美世界

娘的教诲依然响在耳畔，如刀的岁月

已击溃那些曾经坚不可摧的东西

手中的刀生锈、变钝，削不去浮生风尘

无所不能的利刃，已无法把回忆一点点地剔除

当孤寂占据梦魇，那个在诗中反复写到明天的孩子

眼神是否还如先前那般炯然?

The Knife-like Years

Good steel for blade. Who uses the sharpest blade,

To clear the life's hilly road of weeds and brambles?

Who carves a pure world in his heart by a pointed sword?

Mother's teaching is still in my ears, like Knife-like years

That smash things once indestructible.

The knife in hand gets rusted, blunt, failing to change the unstable society.

An almighty blade cannot cut off the memory bit by bit.

When loneliness occupies the nightmare, the boy who writes poems till tomorrow,

Are his eyes still as bright and piercing as before?
