白杨这次是沿着教室左侧走道向后走,来到中央位置停了下来开始与学生交谈,。
"Hi,are you physically active?"他对右手的一位男同学说道。
"Pardon?"
"Oh,are you physically active?that is to say,do you often join in some physical sports?"白杨放慢了语速带有表情地补充道。
"Now I see,but I don't understand the difference between physial and physically."
男孩回答说他明白意思了,但是他不明白physial 和physically之间的区别。
"Well, let me give you some more examples."
白杨边说再给他举几个例子,边回到了黑板处,并把举例写在上面:
physically strong/weak/sick
physical examination/health/condition
写完之后,他又问那位男同学,"What can you see? "
"我明白了,physicallly 跟形容词连用,physical 跟名词连用。"这位男同学迅速回答道。
"You are mentally sharp,great!"
白杨立刻采用同样的语言形式激励他说"你头脑敏锐,好样的!"
白杨就这样不用汉语讲解,而叫学生观察、体验、总结的方式, 不到十分钟就交代完了本课所有该学的语言点。
随后,他又开始给同学们布置新的任务。
"Read the text:Mountaineering and Other Physical Activities on page 126 in the textbook. Before reading the passage, please look through its following questions. You are going to interview each other later on about the lesson."
他的任务是让学生们阅读课本第126页上的课文:
